Organizational Setting

FAO is supporting the Government of Moldova and in particular the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment in digitalization of the agriculture sector. At the first stage, the assessment of the main needs and gaps will be conducted. Another objective is to propose policy measures to support the digitalization processes of the agriculture sector.  

 

Tasks and responsibilities

General:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of agriculture processes, e-strategies and policy documents and related infrastructure;
• Perform the needs assessment study of the digitalization in agriculture revealing the existing gaps and proposing necessary actions of improvement.
