Background

UNICEF Moldova is seeking an individual consultant to conduct documentation of good practice for improving quality of early education through modelling mentoring for professional development at work place in the Republic of Moldova.

Specific objectives:

To document:

  • Undertaken process of work (how the project was implemented), methodological approach, key challenges and how they were overcome
  • overall achievements against planned results (as per initial intervention's design)
  • evaluation of the sustainability and the level of institutionalization of good practice
  • coordination and capacity of professionals to provide quality services for children
  • the potential contribution to improvement of quality of education process
  • contribution and level of engagement of national and local authorities, CSOs, academia, GPE Secretariat, the WB and UNICEF in supporting and scaling up mentoring at national level
  • the impact on urban/rural professionals (didactic and non-didactic staff) who benefited of group and individual mentoring
  • the impact on overall development of children and their learning outcomes.
