On the 17th and 18th of November in Chisinau, UNICEF has held the first youth forum.
UNICEF aimed to consult young people aged 18-24, volunteers, young associates initiative groups, school councils, district councils, youth organizations, non-governmental youth organizations, resource centers for young people, opinion leaders, as well as, students and proactive students involved in society, in referring to the proposed changes to the amendment of Law no.140 on the special protection of children at risk and children separated from their parents. The forum was attended by young people from 12 raions from the Republic of Moldova. Amendments and additions to the legislative discussions in the Parliament will come to ensure that the rights of migrants’ children from Moldova are fully respected.
The voice of youth must be heard because it counts!
