Opportunity to receive grants to promote business innovations

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova announces the launching of the third round of grants competition for small and medium enterprises willing to apply innovations in their businesses. The maximum grant amount is USD 8,000 or 60% of the total budget of the project, the applicant covering not less than 40% of the total value.
The grants competition is eligible for micro-, small and medium enterprises founded at least two years before the application date, planning to implement innovations in their activities.
Deadline for submitting applications is 28 September 2015, 17.00 local time.
Applications are to be submitted online, at www.inobiz.md.

The grants competition is implemented in the framework of the ‘Innovative business development for local sustainable economic growth’ Project, implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova with the financial support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During previous rounds, in July-August, over 300 proposals were received (most popular fields being energy and environment, agriculture, ITC sector). Proposals received in the previous rounds are in the evaluation process, the winners to be announced shortly.
