What are the preschool education costs for our children?
7 August 2015
PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Romania will perform a complex assessment and cost-benefit analysis of childcare and education services in the Republic of Moldova. The assessment is part of a project supported by UNICEF Moldova, with a goal to safeguard universal access to education services and early development for all children, including children with special needs.
As a result, public expenditures needed for one child to get preschool education services will be estimated. The % of GDP to be allocated to preschools, the minimum package and the optimal pupil/teacher ratios per institution to ensure cost-effectiveness will be also calculated.
Data will be collected in all 1453 preschools.
