Overview:
The purpose of this Call for Expression of Interest is to identify eligible Civil Society Organisations for prospective partnership with UNICEF Moldova.
Eligible Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) are invited to submit proposals for partnership to support achievement of results for children outlined in the 2018-2022 UNICEF-Government of Moldova Country Programme and section 1.3 of the attached Call for Expression of interest, as follows:
Outcome 2. Social Change for Child Rights
Output 7. Caregivers' child care capacities and skills
By 2022, all caregivers have capacity and skills to take responsibility for a child care, health, development, education and protection, encourage and practice positive behaviour
Output 8. Adolescents awareness and participation
By 2022, adolescents and youth are empowered and have opportunities to claim for and support realization of child rights and are able to adopt positive, healthy behaviours.
This Specific Call for expression of interest solicits applications from qualified Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to implement in partnership with UNCIEF an Adolescents and Youth capacity strengthening, empowerment and mobilization programme, to be implemented in 12 rayons of the Republic of Moldova in the period 2018-2022: Singerei, Nisporeni, Cantemir, ATU Gagauzia, Dubasari, Ungheni Ialoveni, Soroca, Glodeni, Anenii Noi (Varnita), Stefan Voda and Ocnita.
UNICEF invites Civil Society Organizations with relevant background and expertise to submit their proposals to meet specific results under this call as follows:
Results Area 1 – Adolescents empowerment, employment and participation
a/. Build capacity of Local Public Authorities (LPAs) and local Youth Councils to design, budget, implement and evaluate youth related programmes at local level
b/. Build capacities of Youth Centers to support advancement of youth development and skills and promote/ facilitate participation of adolescents and youth in decision making process
c./ Build capacity of the National Pupils Council and school committees to foster adolescent participation in school life and education
c/. Piloting of social innovations and entrepreneurship programmes to boost adolescents and youth employment and enhance professional readiness
d/. Enhancing real-time social-monitoring by adolescents and youth
Results Area 2 – Positive parenting and Adolescents
a/. Develop learning programmes and modules based on evidence for training of caregivers of adolescents
b./ Model positive parenting programs for caregivers of adolescents
