Overview:
UNICEF is requesting Expressions of Interest from potential suppliers in preparation for a solicitation exercise for one integrated set of fixed Closed-Circuit Video/Television and Recording equipment, full set of equipment for a child-firendly hearing room. The equipment will be installed in a selected institution in Moldova.
Recording technology records the visual and audio information for abuse evidence gathering and reduces the number of times a child victim recounts the abuse to various criminal justice officials. CCTV technology allows a traumatized victim to provide trial testimony outside the presence of the alleged abuser or other participants to the legal process.
Purpose of the REOI:
The purpose of this REOI to identify suppliers with experience in the supply and installation of an integrated set of fixed CCTV and Recording equipment for a child friendly hearing room, consisting of one interview room (room size 3.4*2.8*2.5 m) and one monitoring room (room size 5.3*3.4*2.5 m). Please note:
(a) PRICES ARE NOT REQUIRED AT THIS STAGE;
(b) Questions about e.g. conformity of the supplier’s products will not be entertained at this stage;
(c) This REoI does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an Expression of Interest does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation document when issued;
(d) UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as at when issuing the final solicitation document.
(e) UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REoI and/or solicitation process.
