COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATE
(SC-6)
Under the general direction, guidance and supervision of the UNFPA Programme Coordinator the UNFPA Communication Associate supports the formulation and implementation of the communications and advocacy strategies to increase the standing and awareness about UNFPA’s mandate with partners, the media and the public at large. This assignment is part of the implementation of the UNFPA component under the UNHSTF funded project “Protection and Empowerment of Victims of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence in Moldova”. The Communication Associate also provides support for the implementation of communication and advocacy activities in the framework of the Country Programme implemented projects.
Requirements:
Successful candidates should have a University Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other related areas. We expect a minimum of 4 years of relevant responsible experience in providing communication packages to promote the activities of international development organization. Previous work experience in UN and/or international environment is an asset.
