Recruitment of an IT Specialist to assist the UNAIDS Office in Moldova in implementing and maintaining effective IT operations - UNAIDS

UNAIDS Moldova announces the recruitment of an IT Specialist on full-time basis to provide support and maintenance for rolling out IT standards for the UNAIDS Country Office in Moldova, in alignment with UNAIDS policies and procedures.

The IT specialist will assist the UNAIDS Country Office in the design and implementation of LAN/WAN/Voice/Video, including support and operations of all network systems and equipment.

Specific Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Develop the design of the Local Area Network and approve it with UNAIDS CC;
• Undertake all the preparatory works necessary for the installation of the LAN;
• Establishment of Local Area Network and ensuring its proper functioning;
• Ensuring the proper Internet connection from all the workstations;
• Install drivers for peripherals such as: video, photo, etc.;
• Configuration of all the equipment in the office;
• Check all the equipment as to regard of its proper functioning.

Terms of Reference

Duration of work: June 1 – December 31, 2009.
