Programme and Finance Assistant to contribute to the delivery of UNAIDS on-going projects  - UNAIDS



UNAIDS Moldova announces the recruitment of a Programme and Finance Assistant to process financial and administrative procedures, procurements, requests for payment.

Under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator, he/she ensures the appropriate application of systems, facilitates the work of consultants, advisors and experts and assists in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with counterparts in government, multi lateral and bi-lateral donor agencies and civil society. He/she assists UNAIDS in developing TORs, in organizing meetings with national and international partners. The P&F Assistant provides assistance with regards to the implementation of the programme activities: develops, supports and assists in the organization of the meetings and activities of the UN TG on HIV/AIDS, prepares seminars, workshops, training sessions, prepares and coordinates field visits for the missions in cooperation with programme, NGOs and government departments. 

Requirements for applicants for the position of P&F Assistant:

  • Studies in Sociology, Public Health or other relevant fields;
  • Proven abilities in the area of project/program implementation, documentation and advocacy;
  • Experience in health sector projects and experience in collaboration with donors, knowledge of AIDS programmes and health policy.
  • Read, write and speak proficient English, Romanian and Russian.
