Consultant to assist with the development of the CCM and HIV/AIDS Components of Round 8 Proposal to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria- UNAIDS

The main tasks of the consultant will be  to assist the CCM, CCM Secretariat, and the National HIV/AIDS/STI Control Programme in identifying the priority needs and constraints in HIV/AIDS health system strengthening in the country, to hold consultations with key national stakeholders, to facilitate the discussions with involvement of the NAP, other national partners and international partners identifying the main Objectives and key activities to be included in the Round 8 Proposal.

At the end of the assignment the Consultant should deliver the following products:

• A draft version of the CCM Components of the proposal to the Global Fund in the format required in Round 8.
• Completed relevant annexes related to the CCM Components to the Proposal Form.
• A final version of the CCM Components proposal with all relevant annexes.
• Adjusted main part (text) of the CCM Components proposal and/or annexes if necessary.

Requirements for applicants: 

• A university degree in the field of health, economics, public health or health management.
• Operational experience in health project management and development will be an advantage.
• An experience in health sector projects and experience in collaboration with foreign donors, knowledge of AIDS programmes and health policy will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in realisation of similar tasks.
• Good computer user skills.
• Read, write and speak proficient English.

The consultant will be paid a lump sum of $500 USA.
