Comisia Europeană a alocat circa 3 mln Euro pentru ca în Moldova să se desfăşoare alegeri libere şi corecte. Scopul este de a mări participarea la vot a cetăţenilor domiciliaţi în străinătate, de a îmbunătăţi transparenţa procesului electoral prin utilizarea mai bună a mass mediei şi consolidarea capacităţii instituţionale şi funcţionale ale Comisiei Electorale Centrale.

In the context of the legislative elections in the Republic of Moldova on 5th of April, the European Commission has allocated funds amounting to €3 million for projects to promote and monitor compliance with international standards during the electoral process.
