This is the web space where you can find information about the international development organizations’ assistance to the elections in Moldova.

Upon the request and the agreement of its development partners, the UN has taken the initiative to coordinate the donors' response by providing technical assistance to the Moldovan electoral bodies.

The main coordination mechanism consists of a  group of partners interested in providing assistance in this area. The proposed setting is complementary and does not seek to overlap with the OSCE-led overall coordination of 2009 Parliamentary elections assistance and observation. The group participants are keen to ensure that there is coordination and synergy in responding to the country's development priorities in the area of elections. Participation in the coordination group’s meetings is open to any interested organization providing assistance to Moldovan electoral bodies.
