The purpose of joint programmes implementation is raise effectiveness and efficiency gains by increasing coherence, synergy, and impact when two or more agencies address a common result and reduce duplication; and reducing transaction costs for government, donors and other partners by using common programming, coordination, operations and reporting processes and tools.
